Passenger Name Record is a unique 10-digit number generated whenever you book a train ticket, storing passenger names, coach, and route details.
The first reservation chart is typically prepared 4 hours prior to scheduled train departure. Final coach berths are locked at this time.
CNF means Confirmed full berth. RAC allows travel boarding with a seated berth. WL is waiting list pending seat cancellation.
If an online e-ticket remains on the Waiting List after chart preparation, your fare is automatically refunded 100% within 15 minutes.
