Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers regarding tickets, luggage, contactless turnstiles, and travel policies.

How does the digital QR boarding pass work at turnstiles?
After completing your booking online, your digital pass displays a high-contrast dynamic QR barcode. Simply hold your mobile device screen approximately 5 inches over the glass optical scanner located on top of any gate turnstile. The barrier gate opens in under 0.2 seconds.
Can I transfer between different metro lines without paying twice?
Yes! All station interchanges (such as Central Terminal, Grand Plaza, and Harbor Point) are inside the secure paid area. You do not tap out when changing trains between Blue, Red, Green, and Purple lines, so transfers are completely free.
Are bicycles and electric scooters allowed on trains?
Foldable bicycles and folded e-scooters are permitted at all hours for free. Full-sized bicycles are permitted on all off-peak trains (after 09:30 AM and before 16:30 PM, and all weekends) with a $2.00 bicycle transit permit added to your ticket.
What should I do if my phone battery dies before I tap out?
Every station concourse features a Customer Service Glass Booth adjacent to the fare gates. Provide your Booking PNR, registered email, or government photo ID, and our station staff will verify your reservation and print an exit pass.
How does the All-Day Transit Pass calculate validity?
The All-Day Pass ($12.00) activates upon your very first gate tap-in and remains valid for unlimited rides until 04:00 AM the following morning, covering late-night services and special event trains.
